We should prepare our students before the reading activity. Put them vocabularies related with the reading to help students in understanding what they are reading.Put them activities that be easier for them. To prepare them to the reading.it helps me because I put vocabulary but always I read my students I do not let them to do it because I think if they read they are not going to understand. But now I can see that they can do it it is my responsibility to create good pre reading activities that motivate them to read and understand what they are reading.
The idea of pre-reading activities is new for a lot of teachers. I hope that this becomes a priority in your lesson planning. Allowing the students to predict and work with the vocabulary in fun and meaningful way helps peak their interest but also helps to scaffold the process overall.
